The
Challenge

Working at my first internship in graphic design at Blik Reclame, the very first week of working there, I was tasked with creating a complete branding design for an upcoming restaurant that serves South American food.

Inti is the sun god for the Inca tribe. With that in mind, I started my research. After researching South American designs such as ancient tribe patterns, colors and overall South American design, I started creating the brand.

The Solution

Having created many and many different concepts, the customer chose one and was satisfied with the logo. After the logo was chosen, the brand was chosen.

Everything Blik Reclame and me made in graphic design for the restaurant derives from the logo. Because the customer was very pleased with the logo I created, making other products such as business cards, gift vouchers and contributing to the web design was fairly easy. In conclusion, I took the role of lead graphic designer for the branding of Grand Café INTI. The customer was very pleased with the results and the restaurant is doing very well with delicious food, many customers and even showing up in the local newspaper.
